Shh... don't tell, but I'm kinda cheating on this day. I've been so sick the last few days with a head cold and had no desire to leave the house all day, so this one was actually taken the day after.
I LOVED the color of these chairs and set them up like this for this look. I could have had them all be the same color, but I liked that I had only one orange one in the picture. I also liked the white background to make it simple. I was going to crop out the edge of the building, but in the end I liked that it added a little something.

Fun in Vegas! Loved this wall, so I had to include it in today's 365 Project. This kinda goes with the repetitive lines/graphic theme.

14/365 {Lines}
I procrastinated again and had little light to play with for my daily picture (taken at 11pm), so I had to get creative with this one. I immediately liked this one when I saw it in camera because of the obscurity of it. It's totally the feeling I was going for. Although is it too obscure? Can you tell what it is?
This week has been a hard one to try to fit the "lines" theme. I'm glad it's a new one tomorrow!!! Oh, and I can't wait because Monday and Tuesdays pictures will be in VEGAS! I'll be there for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) convention! I hope I learn lots and come back inspired!

Love the lines in this picture and the contrast of the blue sky to the lighter stadium. I took another picture without the power line in it, but I actually liked this one better. I think the line added *something*. Not sure what it is.
This was another picture from today. It didn't really fit the theme, but I had to include it because I just liked it so much. Almost looks like water, huh?! Who knew the red hill had a lake up there!?

10/365 {Lines}
So I took a bunch of pictures today but either I didn't like them enough or I didn't think they fit the "lines" theme. This one I'm just going to make it fit my theme. How? Well, here's my explaination... There's defintitely some horizontal lines in it, not as prominent as I was thinking for this subject, but the "line" that really draws me through this picture is the dots going diagonally through it. I know it's not an actual line, but as far as this picture goes composition wise, I think the dots draw your eye through it in a pleasing way. But really, I just liked the picture, so even if it doesn't totally work for the theme, I'm using it for today anyway!
Ya know, maybe I like it so much because it reminds me of my first house! It was turquoise (much brighter than this one) and it had a cute little mail box by the front door, much like this one, but without the cute floral decoration. Sadly, our old house is no longer that bright, fun color, the current owners repainted it after we sold it... now it's just boring brown! I liked the old charm!

9/365 {Graphic- Lines)
I think the lines in this one are very subtle, but still work for the theme. Definitely some good Visual Mass (silhouette figures and light/dark areas of the photo), but I think this picture wouldn't work as well without the very subtle lines leading up to the end of the tunnel and the people there- two of my kids and my husband. I also love the light reflecting off the water.

March {Graphic- Lines} 8/365
I chose this picture because I have been learning about visual mass and how your eye is drawn through a picture. When I think of your eye being drawn through a picture I think of lines creating the flow in it. This is not the only way, but since this week is about finding interesting lines, I think this works for an example of lines and having dynamic visual mass. It's not perfect, but I like it.
